John McCain’s Economic Strategy promising Entrepreneurship and Employment !

[Original Post on Oct1’08 at]
After the recent Economic crisis in the U.S. and 2 of 4 Wall Street pillars falling down the situation of unemployment has worsened.Alone Lehman Brothers initially left almost 25,000 people jobless across the Globe. Then the failure of mighty Merill Lynch and Washington Mutual have raised lots of questions and worries.
With just few weeks left in deciding the next U.S. President its very important for everybody to know the Economic plan of them and how they plan to cope up the situation. We all know that Entrepreneurs are the backbone of U.S. Economy and the innovation they bring with themselves is driving the economy ahead.Entrepreneurs not only contribute to the development of the economy, but are one of the most important source of employment. Each firm’s birth brings with it job opportunities.
Even before the recent Economic crisis McCain foresaw the same and had proposed the economic policy favoring Entrepreneurs. The overall economic strategy is removing barriers that get in the way of creating jobs. That means “aggressively” phasing out the alternative minimum tax, keeping dividend and capital gains taxes low, and keeping the top marginal income tax rate where it is.
In his own words he said “I will keep taxes low and cut them where I can. My opponent will raise them. I will open new markets to our goods and services. My opponent will close them. I will cut government spending. He will increase it.” .He further added and said ” Keeping taxes low helps small businesses grow and create new jobs. Cutting the second highest business tax rate in the world will help American companies compete and keep jobs from moving overseas.” .
This certainly shows that McCain is the first choice of Entrepreneurs and hence is going to effect every American’s life directly or indirectly. With Entrepreneurship booming, employment opportunities will rise for sure.
John McCain is the man, every American needs !! Thanks ..
